Ashiatsu (Barefoot Massage)

Ashiatsu combines two japanese words "ashi" meaning foot, and "atsu" meaning pressure. A unique technique using clean, soft feet to massage while the therapist holds onto bars overhead for balance. No adjustments needed from you, just relax and enjoy this different way of relieving muscle tension, increasing circulation and improving posture. The foot can apply an evenly spread and firm pressure over a large area with very little discomfort and without the sharpness of a finger or elbow. The feet glide over oil to penetrate deep into your muscles in a different way than any other massage does. Amazingly the feet feel very much like the hands. Give it a try and see for yourself!
